Ability to add notes against a product

Similar to repair tickets, can we add the ability to add private notes here? The reason is that we like to change vendors when reordering. Or put notes that this item is just a slow seller and to not reorder. Markdown or increase the price once we have a certain limit. It has become a HUGE deal having to keep this on a separate spreadsheet. These internal notes should not be printed on the receipt. A user should be able to add or view private notes from the listing page. If there is an internal note against a product it should display an icon on the listing page so an admin is aware he needs to check an internal note.
