Enable a Seamless Trade-In Workflow at POS with Profit Recognition

As a store owner, I often handle trade-ins where a customer brings in a device (Product B) and purchases a new one (Product A) in exchange. Currently, using the exchange function results in confusing profit reporting and requires us to complete two separate transactions — one to pay the customer for the trade-in, and another to sell them the product. This is time-consuming and inefficient during busy hours. I’d love to see a dedicated trade-in option integrated directly into the payment flow. Here’s what I envision: - Customer buys Product A - At checkout, we can select "Trade-In" as a payment method - We enter details of Product B being traded in - Product B is added to inventory with cost - Profit is calculated based only on the sale of Product A This would streamline the process, reduce manual steps, and provide accurate financial tracking, all in one smooth transaction.
